Quiet start to the month, this. P!nk’s latest is OK and Alexis Jordan’s single strays perilously close to the line marked “retread of her last single”.

Wiz Khalifa’s written a song about his car and it’s gone into the Top Five and I don’t think I understand the world anymore.

What’s that? You don’t remember Parade? I’ve just heard Louder and to be honest, I can barely remember Parade. Maybe that’s why they went down the dumper so massively ahead of schedule. I definitely do not need a doctor if that doctor is Dre; to be honest, I doubt he’s even medically qualified. Considering he only turns up for the last minute or so of his own song, I Need A Doctor is essentially a massive “up yours” to his former friends who’ve abandoned him. Blimey. Gold Forever, then. It’s the 2011 Comic Relief song, but you’d never know from the song, it’s only the gigantic number of red plastic noses that give the game away. The Wanted seem to be making a habit of wearing clothes that are drab and colourless, and I have to say their music reflects their wardrobe at the moment. They have to improve, surely? Don’t Hold Your Breath’s quite good, mind you.
