Yeah 3× is supposed to be pronounced Yeah Three Times; I wonder if the person responsible for designing the single cover was being paid by the letter. If so, they’ve done themselves out of a few quid there. Blind Faith’s not bad at all, though – whereas Chris Brown’s single is professionally but cleanly put together, Blind Faith has got heart and soul. Ke$ha’s single, however, is just silly.

Higher’s good, I like Higher. Tonight finds Enrique Iglesias in an unusually assertive mood; the tune’s not bad either. As for Price Tag, it’s so much better than Do It Like A Dude I can scarcely believe the same person did both songs.

Madonna’s Express Yourself does Born This Way’s job much, much better, you know. “I was born a champion,” proclaims Chris Brown. Can’t say I’m convinced.

“Sticks and stones may break my bones but chains and whips excite me,” Rihanna 50-Shades-Of-Greys to her listeners during her latest single. This isn’t just a pop single, it’s an S&M pop single. Adele’s single contains much more family-friendly fare and it reached the top in some style, springboarding from No.47 to the very top.
