Untouched is a strange song – somehow, the Veronicas have crammed in more “la la la”s than normal safety regulations should allow. As for Release Me, the beginning sounds like a Coldplay remix but thankfully things improve from there. Be a bit worrying if they didn’t, mind you.

Knock You Down’s all right, but who cares when Fire’s next? I bloody love this song; all dark and brooding and lolloping along in the verses and then kicking off in the choruses. Also, guitars being brandished as shotguns in the video. More like this, please.

I don’t mind When Love Takes Over, but it’s not really a song of any special significance is it? Tell you what though, I don’t remember Mama Do being anything like this good five years ago. Did it always have such a sturdy sounding beat? Must’ve done, but I probably missed it. Gives the song a bit of oomph that I’d never noticed before, it does.

My God, Said It All is tedious. Even the title suggests the band has run out of ideas. In other news, is Paparazzi a song about being a stalker? It’s a bit creepy.
