Play - Episode II.

ICH WILL
Rammstein

So, Rammstein are German and as a result the lyrics to Ich Will are in German which I haven't studied since I was at school twelve years ago and even then I only got a GCSE Grade E and as I've never been to Germany I've never needed to keep my multilingual skills up to scratch which means that after all that I haven't got the faintest idea what the hell the words mean. Imagine if you will, a bloke with a singing voice so sweet and pure it's capable of charming cats down from trees and coaxing the sun out of hiding on a rainy day. That bloke is not Rammstein's singer. He has a voice that sounds like pebble-dashed cement looks and it's absolutely perfect for the job in hand which is to produce a song that makes a nice change from Atomic Kitten and all the others, I suppose the best way to describe it is as a metal song you could almost dance to. No, really. Good luck to 'em, I say.

Moby (album)

If you've got Play, then you've practically got this already. We Are All Made Of Stars is good, but the problem is there are another 17 songs besides that and for the most part they could almost be the less interesting offcuts from Play. Shame really, still there's always next time.
COME BACK
Jessica Garlick

We're going to get thoroughly stuffed in the Eurovision. Or are we? On the face of it, this single's going through the motions, standard middle-of-the-road fare. Exactly the sort of stuff people in the Maltese and Austrian juries might go for. Good luck to it in Estonia on May the 25
th, but I'm afraid that in the real world it's going to disappear rapidly.
