Stick with it, things get better.

Think of your average Steps song without the other three and you get the picture. It's OK if you're a Steps fan (I'm not), but it makes you wonder why they bothered to break up the band, doesn't it?
MAKE IT GOOD
A1

If only they had. This isn't dreadful and it isn't great, it's just… well… er… there. Whilst I'm impressed that they've decided to stop dancing about and start playing their instruments themselves, the end result is pretty anonymous guitar-laden pop. Right, that's two summed up already, what's next?
ALL I WANT IS YOU
Bellefire

Somehow all the soul and feeling has been ripped out of one of U2's better songs and for a song like this, which needs both of the aforementioned qualities to survive, that's pretty much a fatal blow deat out there. If you haven't heard the original, go and have a listen and then you'll never want to hear this version again.
FREAK LIKE ME
Sugababes

Hell's bells! I've found something good! No, really I have. To say this is nothing like what the Sugababes have done before is a bit like saying Luton Town have had a pretty successful season (ie. a massive understatement). For starters, this isn't one of their own songs, in fact it's Tubeway Army's Are Friends Electric? from way back in the mists of time (or 1979, whichever's best for you) with some new lyrics lobbed over the top (from another old song whose name escapes me right now). Now, on the face of it that may sound a bit naff (after all, remember what Alcazar did to Spacer), but this works a treat. See, this week's not a complete write-off after all.
