Seconds Out.

KNIVES OUT
Radiohead

It's very easy to dismiss this as a standard Radiohead slab of gloom. After all, any song that contains the lines "Catch the mouse / squash his head / put him in the pot" is obviously never going to be used in a future advert for Butlins Holiday Resorts, but it's never so grim that you'd feel the need to ring the Samaritans for a discussion on whether sticking your head in the oven really does still work these days. In fact, Knives Out sounds on the face of it to be a pop song with guitars, albeit as some strange new form of the phrase "pop song" that only Radiohead have grasped. I happen to like it though.
21 SECONDS
So Solid Crew

If only it were that short. This song features ten different vocalists who each have just 21 seconds to say what they like before their time's up. That's about it really. Add a drum machine and a cheap Yamaha Sounds Groovy keyboard and that's summed that one up. It'll be popular in the clubs but the rest of the world will probably wonder what the fuss is about.
